Spectators: 6853 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1853, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eduard Vorobeľ kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ambróz Klimkovič during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes Kristy got a freekick which was hit by Ambróz Klimkovič. When ŠK Slovan Bratislava's Eduard Vorobeľ in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kristy's goalie prevented a goal. Zdeno Baštovánsky took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marek Eštok. Marek Eštok dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, ŠK Slovan Bratislava's Martin Striež got a free kick in the 13th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Samo Kazík managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kristy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samo Kazík was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ŠK Slovan Bratislava's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Zdeno Baštovánsky 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. If Samo Kazík had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marek Eštok made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Samo Kazík sent off a good shot on target. Samo Kazík was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Zdeno Baštovánsky recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pavol Zábojník kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdeno Baštovánsky in the 31st minute of play forced ŠK Slovan Bratislava's goalkeeper Marek Eštok to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marek Jurčo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zdeno Baštovánsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Eštok having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Samo Kazík could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Marek Eštok however easily saved by the left post. ŠK Slovan Bratislava's Marek Eštok proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save ŠK Slovan Bratislava from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Kristy were awarded a corner. Mojmír Záruba went to the cornerflag to take it. Mojmír Záruba made a great header on Kristy's corner, it was just that ŠK Slovan Bratislava's Marek Eštok managed to reach the ball for a save. Milan Janáč made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Ernest Hodorovský sent off a good shot on target. Zdeno Baštovánsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Marek Eštok tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zdeno Baštovánsky sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marek Eštok didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samo Kazík went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Kristy getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Martin Kolník hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, ŠK Slovan Bratislava's Viktor Hriadeľ tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in ŠK Slovan Bratislava's zone, Samo Kazík stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marek Eštok came out of the goal and Samo Kazík tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samo Kazík struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Marek Eštok didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kristy. Marek Eštok didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samo Kazík went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Zdeno Baštovánsky sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ŠK Slovan Bratislava's goalkeeper Marek Eštok, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Vorobeľ in the 94th minute of play forced Kristy's goalkeeper Milan Janáč to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zdeno Baštovánsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Marek Eštok tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Kristy were the better team. Kristy's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
