Obeckov FK's Tomáš Ondejko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Jureňa in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Hugo Jureňa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomáš Ondejko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Choreň charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Choreň the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Obeckov FK getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Peter Choreň hit a great ball. Oliver Vlach took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomáš Ondejko. Obeckov FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Jaromír Baránek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th match minute, Obeckov FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Choreň to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Tomáš Drabík hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Adidovce FC's Jaromír Baránek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomáš Ondejko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Oto Fecko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Obeckov FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Adidovce FC the free kick. In the 22nd minute, one of Obeckov FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Obeckov FK. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Tomáš Surovec managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adidovce FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomáš Surovec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The Obeckov FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Adidovce FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Jureňa to make the kick off. Róbert Perniš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hugo Jureňa came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Adidovce FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Jureňa couldn't finish the play. After having played for 59 minutes, Hugo Jureňa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adidovce FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Jureňa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaromír Baránek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Tomáš Ondejko made a huge save. Gabriel Tkáč made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbert Perniš in the 67th minute of play. Jaromír Baráneks short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Tomáš Ondejko to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 70 played minutes Obeckov FK got a freekick which was hit by Tomáš Drabík. Tomáš Ondejko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaromír Baránek in the 71st minute. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Jaromír Baránek sped through Obeckov FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomáš Ondejko. After 80 played minutes Obeckov FK got a freekick which was hit by Ladislav Dzubera. Tomáš Ondejko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Jureňa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Jureňa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Tomáš Ondejko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomáš Ondejko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Jureňa's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The Adidovce FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Adidovce FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
