Seating: 1950, VIP seats: 169) Hlohovec's Ersan Sayfi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Oliver Tuka charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oliver Tuka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Oliver Tuka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Pároš missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 19 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Matej Vičan right hand side. Tibor Mračka got a throw-in 22 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ľubomír Matuška. Andrej Filo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Smrtič, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Tibor Mračka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Ersan Sayfi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrej Filo. FC Patrónka Bratislava's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ersan Sayfi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Hlohovec's Matej Vičan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Dani in the 40th minute of play. Viktor Lenko hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When Martin Pároš came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the FC Patrónka Bratislava fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Pároš couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute, Ersan Sayfi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
The wind increased when Ján Sviatko made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes FC Patrónka Bratislava got a freekick which was hit by Martin Pároš. After 52 minutes, Ersan Sayfi made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Patrónka Bratislava's Andrej Filo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Marián Konrád came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Hlohovec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marián Konrád couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Hlohovec's Daniel Stankovič got a free kick in the 61st minute. During the 70th minute of the match Oliver Tuka completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Oliver Tuka a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 69 minutes into the game, one of Hlohovec:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, FC Patrónka Bratislava's Martin Pároš got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Matej Vičan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ján Sviatko in the 75th minute of play forced Hlohovec's goalkeeper Matej Vičan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Smrtič struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Andrej Filo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hlohovec. Ľubomír Rechtorík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Patrónka Bratislava's zone, Peter Smrtič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrej Filo came out of the goal and Peter Smrtič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Patrónka Bratislava's Jaromír Martin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matej Vičan. That made the score 4-3 after 98 minutes of play. When the referee ended the match the Hlohovec players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
