Andrej Dobák didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ersan Sayfi went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ersan Sayfi might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrej Dobák. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ersan Sayfi ran back to his position shaking his head. 8 minutes into the game, Ersan Sayfi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Andrej Dobák was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andrej Dobák didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ersan Sayfi went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Ersan Sayfi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrej Dobák having to make a save. If Ersan Sayfi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute, Peter Smrtič got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st match minute, Kolonica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marián Divinec to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Ersan Sayfi sped through Kolonica FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andrej Dobák. After a rather tough play, Hlohovec's Daniel Stankovič got a free kick in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Hlohovec's Ersan Sayfi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrej Dobák narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

After 54 minutes of play, Kolonica FC's Imrich Fedor made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matej Vičan was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Kolonica FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Marián Divinec hit a great ball. Hlohovec's Marián Konrád got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute Imrich Fedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matej Vičan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Smrtič kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Ersan Sayfi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Ersan Sayfi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Andrej Dobák. The goal made the score 1-6. In the 80th minute Imrich Fedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matej Vičan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Marián Konrád managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hlohovec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marián Konrád was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Hlohovec booed when Kolonica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Hrebíček didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Hlohovec left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kolonica FC.
