Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) David Curea made the kick off and thus started the match. David Curea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute, 1.FC Petrzalka's Nils-Erik Lindsten seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nils-Erik Lindsten the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of 1.FC Petrzalka protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nils-Erik Lindsten had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Dechtice booed when 1.FC Petrzalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Erik Lindsten didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th match minute, Dechtice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juraj Chudý to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Marek Pencák's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filip Voitiş was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Miloš Maška kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 1.FC Petrzalka's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ján Vajda in the 24th minute. The corner led to 1.FC Petrzalka's Michal Vrana getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Marek Pencák dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Filip Voitiş, 1-0. When Marek Pencák fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dechtice's protests and gave Marek Pencák a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, Dechtice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Pencák to maneuver through the defense. When Marián Horňák came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Dechtice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marián Horňák couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marek Pencák was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Marián Horňák managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dechtice's supporters rose to their feet, but Marián Horňák was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Voitiş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filip Voitiş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Pencák in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Dechtice's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alexandru Popârcea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Filip Voitiş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Pencák, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, 1.FC Petrzalka's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Masaryk came free, but Filip Voitiş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dechtice's zone, Alexandru Popârcea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jozef Salák came out of the goal and Alexandru Popârcea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Václav Hollý charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Václav Hollý the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, 1.FC Petrzalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Václav Hollý to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marián Horňák in the 75th minute of play forced 1.FC Petrzalka's goalkeeper Filip Voitiş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, Dechtice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miloš Maška to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th match minute, Dechtice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juraj Chudý to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Alexandru Popârcea got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dezider Ovčiar hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Alexandru Popârcea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If David Curea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Dechtice were the better team. Dechtice's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
