Liverpool FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matej Vittek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Martin Smrečko kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Martin Smrečko lost his temper 27 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Erik Rašovský had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Krištof Dani's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 29 minutes of play, Harmanec FK's Krištof Dani made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Rašovský was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erik Rašovský came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Harmanec FK's Matej Vittek. But to his dismay, Matej Vittek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 35 minutes, Richard Slaný mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liverpool FC and the Harmanec FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erik Rašovský took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Ďurčanský, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Pavol Trebuňa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pavol Trebuňa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavol Stanislav breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Harmanec FK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Pavol Bacho hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Štefan Huna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Maros Kordiak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Harmanec FK's Pavol Stanislav was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute of the match, Ivan Ďurčanský tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erik Rašovský saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Róbert Gallo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Erik Rašovský made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Štefan Huna in the 59th minute of play. Maros Kordiak took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pavol Stanislav. In the 66th minute Pavol Trebuňa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavol Stanislav saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maros Kordiak in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pavol Stanislav prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when Harmanec FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibor Malíšek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Džubák struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Pavol Stanislav didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool FC. Róbert Gallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Pavol Stanislav tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
