Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juraj Fazekaš started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Marián Horňák left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dechtice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Peter Fajta fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dechtice's protests and gave Peter Fajta a yellow card for diving instead. Peter Fajta hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Marek Pencák managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dechtice's supporters rose to their feet, but Marek Pencák was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Vidlička breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juraj Chudý got free with Denis Vidlička in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Opatovce FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ľubomír Šaško hit a great ball. The supporters of Opatovce FC booed when Dechtice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juraj Chudý didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marek Pencák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Vidlička took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Pencák, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marek Pencák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 played minutes Dechtice got a freekick which was hit by Tibor Masaryk. After recieving a nice pass, Opatovce FC's Matej Plesník tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Pencák in the 34th minute of play forced Opatovce FC's goalkeeper Denis Vidlička to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juraj Fazekaš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michal Farkaš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jozef Salák having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marek Pencák to make the kick off. Martin Tomas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jozef Salák having to make a save. If Marián Horňák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 minutes of play, Dechtice's Marián Horňák made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denis Vidlička was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dechtice's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Juraj Fazekaš scored to the left of an out of position Jozef Salák, making the score, 2-1. Denis Vidlička showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Pencák in the 74th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Marián Horňák's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Vidlička was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marián Horňák in the 76th minute of play forced Opatovce FC's goalkeeper Denis Vidlička to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Dechtice getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Tibor Masaryk hit a great ball. After 90 minutes Dechtice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matej Plesník who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Opatovce FC's Juraj Fazekaš to fire away a dangerous shot which Jozef Salák despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Juraj Fazekaš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dechtice fans cheered their team off the field, for while Opatovce FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
