The referee ignored Dechtice's protests and gave Marek Pencák a yellow card for diving instead. Marek Pencák kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Štefan Štefanka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jozef Salák tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Michal Húska shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jozef Salák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miloš Švajda's late challenge caught a Dechtice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miloš Švajda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Miloš Švajda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute of the match Juraj Chudý sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michal Ľadník skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Sihla FK getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ferdinand Baroško hit a great ball. If Marek Pencák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juraj Chudý hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The supporters of Dechtice booed when Sihla FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ľubomír Špindler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marián Horňák received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Michal Ľadník tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michal Húska to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Juraj Chudý managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dechtice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juraj Chudý was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Dechtice's Tibor Masaryk got a free kick in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Marián Horňák could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Michal Ľadník however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Sihla FK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Martin Košický hit a great ball. Marek Pencák struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Michal Ľadník didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dechtice. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Marián Horňák managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dechtice's supporters rose to their feet, but Marián Horňák was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michal Ľadník breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martin Košický kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Marián Horňák could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Michal Ľadník made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Martin Košický hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michal Ľadník showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Pencák in the 81st minute of the match. The supporters of Sihla FK booed when Dechtice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibor Masaryk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jozef Salák made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Húska in the 83rd minute of play. Sihla FK's Michal Ľadník proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Sihla FK from getting a goal against them. Michal Ľadník stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marek Pencák's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 91 minutes in the game, Marián Horňák fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Michal Ľadník having to interfere. Michal Ľadník didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 93rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. The Sihla FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dechtice were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
