Spectators: 8604 (Terracing: 6454, Seating: 1979, VIP seats: 171) Štefan Dragula made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Štefan Dragula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Diera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Štefan Dragula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Diera's Štefan Dragula got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Štefan Dragula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radoslav Maliniak having to interfere. Valaliky FC's Radoslav Maliniak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Valaliky FC from getting a goal against them. In the 13th match minute, FC Diera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomáš Matejček to maneuver through the defense. Tibor Čižmár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambróz Krišpín in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Štefan Dragula's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radoslav Maliniak was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Radoslav Maliniak was a little too slow when Gabriel Behúň got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miloš Hattala got free with Radoslav Maliniak in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tibor Čižmár showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Štefan Bečka in the 31st minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Valaliky FC's Štefan Bečka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tibor Čižmár made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 36th minute, Štefan Dragula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radoslav Maliniak made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Štefan Dragula sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Gabriel Behúň managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Diera's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Behúň was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radoslav Maliniak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Behúň received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Radoslav Maliniak came out and tried to block the shot, but Gabriel Behúň slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernard Úporský was the one to do the kick off. Radoslav Maliniak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Štefan Dragula in the 60th minute of play. In the 64thth minute of the game Štefan Dragula who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valaliky FC's Radoslav Maliniak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gabriel Baťa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Behúň might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radoslav Maliniak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Behúň ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Štefan Dragula in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radoslav Maliniak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel Behúň sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gabriel Behúň struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Radoslav Maliniak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Diera. Gabriel Baťa hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Štefan Dragula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 77 played minutes Valaliky FC got a freekick which was hit by Pavol Kráľ. A collision led to FC Diera getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Stanislav Kuľka hit a great ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Štefan Dragula who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valaliky FC's Radoslav Maliniak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Matúš Gyeneš managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Diera's supporters rose to their feet, but Matúš Gyeneš was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radoslav Maliniak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Vaško during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Diera booed when Valaliky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Vaško didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radoslav Maliniak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Behúň in the 92nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Štefan Dragula in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radoslav Maliniak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 97 minutes into the match, FC Diera's Gabriel Behúň sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radoslav Maliniak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the FC Diera players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
