In the 4th minute Jozef Silan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Ambrózy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jozef Silan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Daniel Lipták had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to ŠK Hájske getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jozef Silan hit a great ball. Jozef Silan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marek Ambrózy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Miroslav Angyal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislav Habdža, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregor Hyrošš charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gregor Hyrošš the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gregor Hyrošš hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Ladislav Habdža ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miroslav Angyal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ladislav Habdža sped through ŠK Hájske's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miroslav Angyal. The audience was convinced that Ladislav Habdža's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miroslav Angyal was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislav Habdža in the 23rd minute of play forced ŠK Hájske's goalkeeper Miroslav Angyal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ŠK Hájske's zone, Ladislav Habdža stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miroslav Angyal came out of the goal and Ladislav Habdža tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miroslav Angyal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislav Habdža in the 30th minute of play. If Daniel Lipták had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marek Ambrózy acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 36th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gregor Hyrošš. In the 37th minute, Jozef Silan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rusinska Cigelka's Marek Ambrózy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jozef Silan in the 41st minute of play. ŠK Hájske's Jozef Silan got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ladislav Habdža was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Daniel Lipták mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ŠK Hájske and the Rusinska Cigelka players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 51 played minutes ŠK Hájske got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Lipták. After 53 minutes of play, Rusinska Cigelka's Ladislav Habdža made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miroslav Angyal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 56th minute Daniel Lipták shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Ambrózy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Rusinska Cigelka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Bača to maneuver through the defense. Marek Ambrózy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Lipták in the 62nd minute of the match. Ivan Demčák received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Miroslav Angyal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jozef Silan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marek Ambrózy having to make a save. In the 75th minute Jozef Silan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Ambrózy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miroslav Bezák hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Ladislav Habdža managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rusinska Cigelka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislav Habdža was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivan Demčák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslav Angyal having to interfere. When Viktor Bača fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rusinska Cigelka's protests and gave Viktor Bača a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rusinska Cigelka getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Viktor Bača hit a great ball. Ján Kundráčik hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The supporters of ŠK Hájske booed when Rusinska Cigelka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matej Kubičko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rusinska Cigelka were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over ŠK Hájske's much stronger midfield.
