Matej Adamec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Dušan Belko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 5 minutes, Marek Janič managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Melon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marek Janič was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ján Tuleja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jozef Domanický, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Žitňár in the 11th minute of play forced White Lion's goalkeeper Dušan Belko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute of the match, Peder Jelm tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ján Tuleja saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 13th minute, Richard Kremeň hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 14 minutes, Daniel Marčok managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. White Lion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Marčok was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Jozef Domanický managed to get in a good position for a shot. White Lion's supporters rose to their feet, but Jozef Domanický was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ján Tuleja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute Peter Holub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dušan Belko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, FC Melon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Kremeň to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Marčok's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ján Tuleja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Dušan Belko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marek Janič's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. If Jozef Domanický had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Matej Adamec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When White Lion's Jozef Domanický in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Melon's goalie prevented a goal. Jozef Domanický let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 30th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. With a little luck, FC Melon's Ján Tuleja got control of the ball when Daniel Marčok tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, FC Melon's Marek Janič sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dušan Belko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Peter Holub made the kick off in the second half. Peter Holub who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 50thth minute tested the skills of Dušan Belko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ján Tuleja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Marčok in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Marčok in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Melon's goalkeeper Ján Tuleja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, White Lion's goalkeeper Dušan Belko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marek Janič. White Lion's Dušan Belko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Holub in the 57th minute of play. FC Melon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave White Lion the free kick. After 61 played minutes FC Melon got a freekick which was hit by Richard Kremeň. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jozef Domanický in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Melon's goalkeeper Ján Tuleja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jozef Domanický had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. White Lion made a substitution. Ľubomír Pekarík replaced Jozef Domanický. After 74 played minutes FC Melon got a freekick which was hit by Peter Holub. FC Melon's Ján Tuleja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ľubomír Pekarík in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Melon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anders Holm was slow to take the kick. During this time White Lion's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Anders Holm got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ján Tuleja quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, FC Melon's Erik Žitňár got a free kick in the 81st minute. FC Melon's Ján Tuleja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Marčok in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Tarazona in the 84th minute of play forced FC Melon's goalkeeper Ján Tuleja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 minutes FC Melon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anders Holm who took care of the corner kick. The corner led White Lion's Anders Holm to fire away a dangerous shot which Ján Tuleja despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of White Lion booed when FC Melon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Kremeň didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ján Tuleja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Marčok in the 92nd minute of the match. FC Melon's Ján Tuleja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Marčok in the 93rd minute of play. Dušan Belko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Fedor in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. White Lion had won after a very even match.
