Barcelona FC's Miroslav Nemeš proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Barcelona FC from getting a goal against them. If Duran Binalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes in the game Matej Kobelník did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Peter Riapoš. Ľubomír Cehlár charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. SC Mirage CC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barcelona FC the free kick. In the 41st minute Peter Tischler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbert Gogoľ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Duran Binalp in the 55th minute of play forced Barcelona FC's goalkeeper Miroslav Nemeš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miroslav Nemeš showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Vilhena, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Barcelona FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duran Binalp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. SC Mirage CC's José Vilhena got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87thth minute of the game José Vilhena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barcelona FC's Miroslav Nemeš was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the game, José Vilhena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Miroslav Nemeš was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SC Mirage CC fully deserved thier win.
