The audience thought a goal was coming when Ziemowit Majorski got free with Ludwig Apelqvist in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as G-TN rest-ART's Ziemowit Majorski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ludwig Apelqvist. That made the score 1-0 after 2 minutes of play. A collision led to G-TN rest-ART getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Kenny Norberg hit a great ball. Juraj Starší hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Ludwig Apelqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigore Irod, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. With his leg Ludwig Apelqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when G-TN rest-ART's Grigore Irod fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Grigore Irod recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juraj Starší lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 11th minute, one of FC FERNET BOYS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC FERNET BOYS. Ludwig Apelqvist had in the 13thth minute some difficulties stopping Ziemowit Majorski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 16th minute, Ulryk Rutecki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Grigore Irod got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grigore Irods short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Ludwig Apelqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ludwig Apelqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grigore Irod's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. FC FERNET BOYS's Ludwig Apelqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Budrewicz in the 29th minute of play. If Andrej Ďuriš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ludwig Apelqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grigore Irod's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grigore Irod in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludwig Apelqvist saved FC FERNET BOYS from getting behind. With a little luck, FC FERNET BOYS's Ludwig Apelqvist got control of the ball when Ziemowit Majorski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Grigore Irod kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Grigore Irod who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Ludwig Apelqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 47 minutes into the match, FC FERNET BOYS's goalkeeper Ludwig Apelqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grigore Irod. After 48 minutes, Roger Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the G-TN rest-ART and the FC FERNET BOYS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC FERNET BOYS booed when G-TN rest-ART was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Grigore Irod stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matúš Zvijač hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute Ulryk Rutecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve De Wyngaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, G-TN rest-ART's Grigore Irod sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ludwig Apelqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. G-TN rest-ART's Matúš Zvijač managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tibor Ligocký in the 62 minute of the game. In the 64th minute Grigore Irod shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludwig Apelqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grigore Irod in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ludwig Apelqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Grigore Irod recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Grigore Irod managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. G-TN rest-ART's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigore Irod was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 played minutes Ivan Erdődy rounded G-TN rest-ART's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. FC FERNET BOYS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
