Ismo Lahtela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 21 minutes into the match, Pokemon's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo Dante came free, but Ismo Lahtela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pokemon's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mikuláš Jarošík in the 24th minute. The corner led Pokemon's Mikuláš Jarošík to fire away a dangerous shot which Anıl Ege Sebuktekin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. FC DNV Bratiskava's Anıl Ege Sebuktekin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save FC DNV Bratiskava from getting a goal against them. After 28 played minutes FC DNV Bratiskava got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Colle. 31 minutes into the match, Daniel Horáček dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anıl Ege Sebuktekin, 1-1. If Carlos Eduardo Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Carlos Eduardo Dante made the kick off in the second half. Ismo Lahtela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Dante in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Horáček in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anıl Ege Sebuktekin saved FC DNV Bratiskava from getting behind. The Pokemon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismo Lahtela should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd play minute Carlos Eduardo Dante came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ismo Lahtela. 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Horáček in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anıl Ege Sebuktekin saved FC DNV Bratiskava from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Pokemon's Laco Dzurnák got a free kick in the 67th minute. Ismo Lahtela was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Carlos Eduardo Dante capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Eduardo Dante really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Horáček in the 80th minute of play forced FC DNV Bratiskava's goalkeeper Anıl Ege Sebuktekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dezider Seman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismo Lahtela having to interfere. A collision led to FC DNV Bratiskava getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Dezider Seman hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Daniel Horáček's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anıl Ege Sebuktekin was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Mikuláš Jarošík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FC DNV Bratiskava players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
