After a rather tough play, FC Štitáre's Edmund Adelsköld got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the match, MIK Focus ŽILINA's goal looked a bit too open when Donovan Burris came free, but Ladislav Vališ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Martin Vozár fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MIK Focus ŽILINA's protests and gave Martin Vozár a yellow card for diving instead. Ladislav Vališ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Älämdar Känanov in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, FC Štitáre's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Kňazovický came free, but Agustin Geleberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ladislav Vališ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donovan Burris in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Ivana in the 19th minute of play forced MIK Focus ŽILINA's goalkeeper Ladislav Vališ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarne Vloeberghs in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustin Geleberto saved FC Štitáre from getting behind. In the 23rd minute MIK Focus ŽILINA were awarded a corner. Stancho Basarov went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Stancho Basarov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Agustin Geleberto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ben Macrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Geleberto having to interfere. Jarne Vloeberghs did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Agustin Geleberto 33 minutes into the match. A collision led to MIK Focus ŽILINA getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Stancho Basarov hit a great ball. Ladislav Vališ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Aronsson in the 42nd minute of play. Jarne Vloeberghs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Agustin Geleberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jarne Vloeberghs made the kick off in the second half. Zulkarnaen Bramantio hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52ndth minute of the game Donovan Burris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MIK Focus ŽILINA's Ladislav Vališ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lukáč Hanigovský fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Geleberto having to interfere. Jarne Vloeberghs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Agustin Geleberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarne Vloeberghs, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. MIK Focus ŽILINA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stancho Basarov in the 67th minute. Jarne Vloeberghs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agustin Geleberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Lukáč Hanigovský left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MIK Focus ŽILINA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a rather tough play, FC Štitáre's Viktor Lalkovič got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Jarne Vloeberghs struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Agustin Geleberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MIK Focus ŽILINA. A collision led to FC Štitáre getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Rune Aronsson hit a great ball. MIK Focus ŽILINA's Milan Francisci was substituted for Ivan Erdődy. Ladislav Vališ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donovan Burris in the 81st minute of the match. Milan Francisci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Geleberto having to interfere. Ladislav Vališ made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Adrian Ivana sent off a good shot on target.
