The audience thought a goal was coming when Dušan Grežo got free with Matej Bohuš in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iván Sotomayor in the 14th minute of play forced Pobedim FC's goalkeeper Stano Dokupil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Well-Well O'Connell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th match minute, FC Smolenice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Pachl to maneuver through the defense. Stano Dokupil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iván Sotomayor's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. But to his dismay, Jozef Krčméry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. FC Smolenice made a substitution. Henrich Jánošík replaced Iván Sotomayor. Matej Bohuš showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dušan Grežo in the 86th minute of the match. With a little luck, Pobedim FC's Stano Dokupil got control of the ball when Henrich Jánošík tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stano Dokupil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrich Jánošík, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Dušan Grežo made a precise shot to the right of Matej Bohuš. FC Smolenice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.
