Dobrudja 1919's Michal Krasko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Dobrudja 1919 from getting a goal against them. In the 39th match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balázs Borbély to maneuver through the defense. Štefan Semeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Petro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save AFK Petržalka from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in AFK Petržalka's zone, Peter Lenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Štefan Semeno came out of the goal and Peter Lenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Tomáš Požgaj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Dobrudja 1919's Amer Ghannoud got a free kick in the 81st minute. Michal Hudák blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michal Krasko having to make a save. Michal Krasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomáš Požgaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Peter Petro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Štefan Semeno having to interfere. Amer Ghannoud hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Michal Hudák's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michal Krasko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Dobrudja 1919 booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Obert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Many of Dobrudja 1919's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Dobrudja 1919 may have spent more time on the ball, but AFK Petržalka were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
