Florijan Hočevar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximilian Razboršek went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Theo Ozimek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franjo Debeljak's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The supporters of NK Olimpija booed when Gorenja Vas-Poljane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mervan Oplotnik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karol Okoren, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Florijan Hočevar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mel Žnidaršič in the 34th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mel Žnidaršič stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. NK Olimpija's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Rihtar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. NK Olimpija's Franjo Debeljak got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximilian Razboršek was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Gorenja Vas-Poljane's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 74th minute, Jonas Rihtar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Theo Ozimek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.
