If Đemal Retel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boštjan Lipovšek kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Kidričevo FC's Đemal Retel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nedeljko Košnik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Đemal Retel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Nedeljko Košnik skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenart Ogrizek in the 14th minute of play forced Kidričevo FC's goalkeeper Goražd Kocjančič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Rosando Krasnik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kidričevo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosando Krasnik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Đemal Retel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nedeljko Košnik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosando Krasnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Đemal Retel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nedeljko Košnik having to interfere. Kidričevo FC's Goražd Kocjančič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erli Pregrad in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kobilje's Boštjan Lipovšek got a free kick in the 29th minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Đemal Retel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kidričevo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Đemal Retel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute Rosando Krasnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nedeljko Košnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Đemal Retel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nedeljko Košnik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Kobilje's Nedeljko Košnik got control of the ball when Đemal Retel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kobilje's goalkeeper Nedeljko Košnik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rosando Krasnik to strike the kick off in the second half. Đemal Retel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Kobilje's goal looked a bit too open when Rosando Krasnik came free, but Nedeljko Košnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rosando Krasnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Đemal Retel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosando Krasnik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Desan Dušič kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Lavrenc Trep was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dorian Drlja kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Kidričevo FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lenart Ogrizek fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Đemal Retel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nedeljko Košnik having to interfere. The Kidričevo FC fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Kidričevo FC's Rosando Krasnik looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kidričevo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
