Spectators: 6806 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vasilij Herga started the match with the kick off. Mika Gale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlado Matić having to interfere. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trbovlje's goalkeeper Vlado Matić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Trbovlje booed when Moravske Toplice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Rebolj didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Angelo Rebolj fired away a hard free kick towards the goal. Vlado Matić moved to his left, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went out of bounds. 21 minutes into the match, Moravske Toplice's goal looked a bit too open when Vasilij Herga came free, but Milija Božnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinko Beguš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milija Božnik having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Živko Srebrnič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Trbovlje's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mika Gale fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 49 minutes into the match, Moravske Toplice's goal looked a bit too open when Vasilij Herga came free, but Milija Božnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelo Rebolj to strike the kick off in the second half. Vlado Matić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Rebolj in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to Trbovlje getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Doran Baloh hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Mika Gale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlado Matić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trbovlje's Vlado Matić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Rebolj in the 59th minute of play. The Trbovlje fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Trbovlje's Dinko Beguš looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vlado Matić came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Moravske Toplice's Mika Gale. But to his dismay, Mika Gale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Vlado Matić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mika Gale in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Doran Baloh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mika Gale in the 81st minute of play forced Trbovlje's goalkeeper Vlado Matić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Moravske Toplice's goal looked a bit too open when Vasilij Herga came free, but Milija Božnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Moravske Toplice fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Thanks to some nice moves Dinko Beguš could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Milija Božnik however easily saved by the left post. In the 98th minute Vasilij Herga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milija Božnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Moravske Toplice supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Trbovlje's performance. The match ended with a win for Trbovlje.
