Vanja Merhar started the match with the kick off. Lučano Černač stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Copak's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. With a little luck, Nazarje's Ugo Krejči got control of the ball when Džemil Kerbler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vanja Merhar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ugo Krejči having to make a save. 10 minutes into the match, Nazarje's goalkeeper Ugo Krejči had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Džemil Kerbler. 11 minutes into the match, Laško Squad's Vanja Merhar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ugo Krejči narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gojmir Džekić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Lučano Černač tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Džemil Kerbler who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Ugo Krejči when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 19 played minutes Nazarje got a freekick which was hit by Tim Filipović. If Vanja Merhar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gojmir Džekić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ugo Krejči made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vanja Merhar in the 28th minute of play. When Vanja Merhar came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Laško Squad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vanja Merhar couldn't finish the play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Džemil Kerbler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ugo Krejči having to interfere. Lučano Černač didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Nazarje's Gojmir Džekić shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. If Ailen Pungaršek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Silvo Kompara fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 69th minute of the match, Gojmir Džekić got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lučano Černač was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 86th minute, Vanja Merhar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ugo Krejči was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Gojmir Džekić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Lučano Černač tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Veljko Starin during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nazarje's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
