In the 15th minute, Rajmund Urbanič got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Rajmund Urbanič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jasim Ribać came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Ivančna Gorica ND fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jasim Ribać couldn't finish the play. If Jasim Ribać had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Ivančna Gorica ND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demeter Guberac to maneuver through the defense. Ivančna Gorica ND's Miško Flakus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paskal Bezjak in the 29th minute of play. Sali Goršek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasim Ribać, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sali Goršek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Servacij Trupej in the 32nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hubert Zakotnik to strike the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Jasim Ribać quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 61 minutes into the match, Ivančna Gorica ND's goal looked a bit too open when Hubert Zakotnik came free, but Miško Flakus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Servacij Trupej in the 64th minute of play forced Dobje's goalkeeper Sali Goršek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paskal Bezjak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Miško Flakus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute of the game, Rajmund Urbanič landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Demeter Guberac's late challenge caught a Dobje's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Demeter Guberac helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ivančna Gorica ND getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Georgij Terdič hit a great ball. Paskal Bezjak's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Miško Flakus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Miško Flakus made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Paskal Bezjak sent off a good shot on target. Georgij Terdič hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Ivančna Gorica ND's Miško Flakus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Ivančna Gorica ND from getting a goal against them. Paskal Bezjak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Miško Flakus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Vodušek during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ivančna Gorica ND had played much better football throughout.
