After 14 played minutes Dobje got a freekick which was hit by Rajmund Urbanič. If Emilijan Tepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Emilijan Tepe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ND Mozirje fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Emilijan Tepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sali Goršek having to interfere. Meta Rigač sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Senad Tavčar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sali Goršek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 minutes, Emilijan Tepe made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Dobje's Sali Goršek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Paskal Bezjak made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Paskal Bezjak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branivoj Kujan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Meta Rigač got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sali Goršek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilijan Tepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Emilijan Tepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Emilijan Tepe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sali Goršek was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilijan Tepe in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sali Goršek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Emilijan Tepe came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the ND Mozirje fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilijan Tepe couldn't finish the play. Emilijan Tepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Sali Goršek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over ND Mozirje could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dobje throughout the match.
