Spectators: 6792 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 0) Žani Sonc started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 7th minute, Piero Bobnar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lendava ND's Dalibor Širovnik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoslav Tehovnik in the 9th minute of play. Žani Sonc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Ferjan having to interfere. Kristian Ferjan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juraj Zmazek in the 13th minute. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Škofljica's goalkeeper Kristian Ferjan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Žani Sonc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristian Ferjan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Škofljica's goalkeeper Kristian Ferjan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juraj Zmazek. Dragoslav Tehovnik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juraj Zmazek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Juraj Zmazek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Din Reš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalibor Širovnik having to interfere. A collision led to Škofljica getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Dragoslav Tehovnik hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Žani Sonc scored 1-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristian Ferjan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 57 minutes, Dragoslav Tehovnik made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lendava ND's Dalibor Širovnik tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Žani Sonc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juraj Zmazek struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Kristian Ferjan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lendava ND. Škofljica's Din Reš got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dragoslav Tehovnik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dragoslav Tehovnik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juraj Zmazek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Kristian Ferjan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lendava ND's zone, Din Reš stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalibor Širovnik came out of the goal and Din Reš tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Din Reš could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Dalibor Širovnik made a huge save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
