Spectators: 6796 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1796, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gerard Pejčić got the match started through his kick off. Gerard Pejčić kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Metod Pezdir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vasilije Tominšek was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Vasilije Tominšek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestin Florjančič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Metod Pezdir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vasilije Tominšek having to make a save. Prevalje FC were furious when Janže Trupej was red carded, 13 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. If Celestin Florjančič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Prevalje FC booed when Vrtojba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gojmir Hlebec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilir Ercegović hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 24 minutes of play, Vrtojba's Metod Pezdir made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vasilije Tominšek was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th match minute, Prevalje FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvin Slana to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match Gojmir Hlebec shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vasilije Tominšek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celestin Florjančič in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vasilije Tominšek saved Prevalje FC from getting behind. 42 minutes into the match, Prevalje FC's goal looked a bit too open when Metod Pezdir came free, but Vasilije Tominšek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Metod Pezdir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celestin Florjančič took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vasilije Tominšek. Vasilije Tominšek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celestin Florjančič to strike the kick off in the second half. When Elvin Slana fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Prevalje FC's protests and gave Elvin Slana a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Elvin Slana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Metod Pezdir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasilije Tominšek having to interfere. Celestin Florjančič struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Vasilije Tominšek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vrtojba. 72 minutes into the match, Prevalje FC's goalkeeper Vasilije Tominšek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Metod Pezdir. After a defensive mix-up in Vrtojba's zone, Theodor Kosednar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manojla Lindav came out of the goal and Theodor Kosednar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Metod Pezdir in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vasilije Tominšek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Metod Pezdirs short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Vasilije Tominšek to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Vrtojba's Celestin Florjančič in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Prevalje FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gerard Pejčić charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerard Pejčić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Prevalje FC! The referee gave Vrtojba a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gojmir Hlebec, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Prevalje FC's Vasilije Tominšek. 0-4. After a rather tough play, Prevalje FC's Elvin Slana got a free kick in the 90th minute. Vasilije Tominšek came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Vrtojba's Metod Pezdir. But to his dismay, Metod Pezdir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Metod Pezdir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 102nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasilije Tominšek having to interfere.
