Vanja Ćubić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragoslav Tutin in the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th minute Šerif Grilj suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 24 minutes into the game, one of Kingdom of Yugoslavia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Hajdin Grilj, was totally fooled by Moravče ND's Radovan Gril, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Dragoslav Tutin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Vanja Ćubić when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bane Brecel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Vjekoslav Konda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moravče ND's supporters rose to their feet, but Vjekoslav Konda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
