After 2 played minutes ALL STARS got a freekick which was hit by Mihajlo Doblehar. In the 3rd minute of the match Stjepan Kofler shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dimitar Plestenjak showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 6 minutes into the match, ALL STARS's Momir Vovk broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Momir Vovk hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Davorin Casar had several of the Sveti Jurij's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Delzi Francelj as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sveti Jurij's Delzi Francelj proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Sveti Jurij from getting a goal against them. Sveti Jurij's Delzi Francelj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davorin Casar in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, ALL STARS's goal looked a bit too open when Joško Ambrož came free, but Dimitar Plestenjak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Karel Rovšnik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dimitar Plestenjak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borut Kokalović in the 29th minute of the match. ALL STARS's Dimitar Plestenjak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perica Murković in the 32nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Davorin Casar managed to get in a good position for a shot. ALL STARS's supporters rose to their feet, but Davorin Casar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delzi Francelj breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 38 played minutes Sveti Jurij got a freekick which was hit by Stjepan Kofler. 39 minutes into the match, Sveti Jurij's goalkeeper Delzi Francelj had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Momir Vovk. Momir Vovk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delzi Francelj having to interfere. Mijo Ristič hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Joško Ambrož made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ALL STARS booed when Sveti Jurij was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mijo Ristič didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, ALL STARS's goal looked a bit too open when Joško Ambrož came free, but Dimitar Plestenjak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61stth minute of the game Davorin Casar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sveti Jurij's Delzi Francelj was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nihad Verovšek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Dimitar Plestenjak made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Nihad Verovšek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sveti Jurij's supporters rose to their feet, but Nihad Verovšek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimitar Plestenjak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Darij Majcen kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sveti Jurij defense, Davorin Casar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delzi Francelj. The Sveti Jurij fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delzi Francelj should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute of the game, Momir Vovk landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Stjepan Kofler's late challenge caught a ALL STARS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stjepan Kofler helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sveti Jurij's Stjepan Kofler got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Darij Jagrič managed to get in a good position for a shot. ALL STARS's supporters rose to their feet, but Darij Jagrič was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delzi Francelj breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Davorin Casar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Delzi Francelj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delzi Francelj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davorin Casar in the 90th minute of play.
