Tomi Sojer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luan Jamšek having to make a save. If Rajnhold Markan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rajnhold Markan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Luan Jamšek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Tomi Sojer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luan Jamšek. Ruše ND's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomi Sojer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 19 minutes into the match, Tomi Sojer notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ruše ND's Luan Jamšek. Luan Jamšek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rajnhold Markan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Luan Jamšek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Pesnica getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Izidor Piščanec hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Pesnica's Tomi Sojer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luan Jamšek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Slavček Ožir charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Slavček Ožir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pesnica booed when Ruše ND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Slavček Ožir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rajnhold Markan took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luan Jamšek. Luan Jamšek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 40th minute Rajnhold Markan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luan Jamšek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luan Jamšek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rajnhold Markan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute, Tibor Švalj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 49 minutes into the game, Tomi Sojer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Luan Jamšek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ožbej Špehar made the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Pesnica got a freekick which was hit by Renej Rotar. The supporters of Ruše ND booed when Pesnica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daš Vesel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Rajnhold Gostenčnik shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marinko Gornik showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Tomi Sojer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luan Jamšek. Tomi Sojer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Slaviša Špurej hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. When Rajnhold Markan came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Pesnica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rajnhold Markan couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Pesnica getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Sergio Maksić hit a great ball. In the 78th minute Ožbej Špehar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marinko Gornik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luan Jamšek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomi Sojer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 79 minute of play. Tomi Sojer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luan Jamšek having to interfere. Luan Jamšek was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Tomi Sojer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomi Sojer really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Marinko Gornik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ožbej Špehar in the 91st minute of the match. In the 95th minute Tomi Sojer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luan Jamšek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute Ožbej Špehar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marinko Gornik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Ruše ND's Luan Jamšek got control of the ball when Rajnhold Markan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pesnica's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
