Rogaška's Zija Šibila got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute Zija Šibila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matic Šilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jovan Osojnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matic Šilar having to interfere. If Zija Šibila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matic Šilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zija Šibila in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jovan Osojnik in the 38th minute of play forced Tolmin FC's goalkeeper Matic Šilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Ira Bogovič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iris Puhar to strike the kick off in the second half. Maj Španić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Stevan Šeme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stevan Šeme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maj Španić, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Maj Španić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tolmin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maj Španić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tolmin FC's goalkeeper Matic Šilar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Jovan Osojnik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zija Šibila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vili Kosem during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zija Šibila might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matic Šilar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zija Šibila ran back to his position shaking his head. After 80 played minutes Tolmin FC got a freekick which was hit by Ožbolt Begić. Gusti Korbar's late challenge caught a Tolmin FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gusti Korbar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Gusti Korbar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
