Spectators: 6783 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mentor Ilešič started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Vransko getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gerhard Šolman hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the game, Lojzek Ravnjak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vuzenica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vransko the free kick. Goražd Mavrič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mentor Ilešič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Lojzek Ravnjak notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Vransko's Antun Kursar. Antun Kursar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the match, Vuzenica's Belizar Pantar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antun Kursar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 19 minutes into the game, Belizar Pantar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Antun Kursar. Belizar Pantar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Vuzenica's Goražd Mavrič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demis Klavs in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Vransko's Demis Klavs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Goražd Mavrič made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Lojzek Ravnjak scored 3-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antun Kursar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lojzek Ravnjak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerhard Šolman hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Belizar Pantar made a kick off. Žane Šoštarič made a great header on Vuzenica's corner, it was just that Vransko's Antun Kursar managed to reach the ball for a save. Žane Šoštarič succeeded in the game's 54th minute to get real power on a long shot . Vransko's Antun Kursar hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 4-1! Lojzek Ravnjak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antun Kursar having to make a save. Ljubomir Oder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Goražd Mavrič had great luck who in the 68thth minute grab hold of the ball when Mentor Ilešič from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 69 minutes into the match, Vransko's Demis Klavs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Goražd Mavrič narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute of the match Žane Šoštarič sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antun Kursar skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Vuzenica booed when Vransko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gordan Mađarić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Goražd Mavrič didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 4-2. Vransko's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
