Smartno Devils FC's Erazem Urban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Rudolf in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute Vito Rudolf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erazem Urban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Smartno Devils FC's Erazem Urban proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Smartno Devils FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ožbej Mešl in the 8th minute of play forced Loški potok's goalkeeper Ibrahim Pikl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Apolonije Rihtar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfred Doljac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vito Rudolf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Erazem Urban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Smartno Devils FC booed when Loški potok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfred Doljac didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Apolonije Rihtar came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Smartno Devils FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolonije Rihtar couldn't finish the play. Manfred Doljac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erazem Urban having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manfred Doljac got free with Erazem Urban in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vito Rudolf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loški potok's Manfred Doljac got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the game, Time Jančar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Smartno Devils FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loški potok the free kick. After 39 played minutes Smartno Devils FC got a freekick which was hit by Time Jančar. After some careless play in the Loški potok defense, Apolonije Rihtar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ibrahim Pikl. The Loški potok fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ibrahim Pikl should have stopped the shot. After the first half Smartno Devils FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ožbej Mešl made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Smartno Devils FC's Ožbej Mešl ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ibrahim Pikl. Ibrahim Pikl yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. With 58 minutes on the clock, Leonid Plazar commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 57th minute, one of Loški potok:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Loški potok. When Edward Babić fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Smartno Devils FC's protests and gave Edward Babić a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Smartno Devils FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Edward Babić hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Doljac in the 67th minute of play forced Smartno Devils FC's goalkeeper Erazem Urban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erazem Urban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svetozar Dragan in the 68th minute of play. Manfred Doljac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erazem Urban having to interfere. Loški potok's Ibrahim Pikl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Loški potok from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, Manfred Doljac got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giuliano Čokl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Manfred Doljac notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Smartno Devils FC's Erazem Urban. Erazem Urban was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Apolonije Rihtar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfred Doljac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
