Ernad Jošovc hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klavdij Drnovšek got free with Fatmir Ramovš in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Jezersko NK fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Jezersko NK's Nemanja Živković looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Rupert Veličkovič sped through Jezersko NK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fatmir Ramovš. If Klavdij Drnovšek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 26 minutes, Petja Brecel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jezersko NK and the Žirovnica players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Jezersko NK got a freekick which was hit by Petja Brecel. After having played for 29 minutes, Klavdij Drnovšek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Žirovnica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klavdij Drnovšek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Žirovnica's goalkeeper Maksimiljan Frankovič, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Žirovnica's Dujo Kisilak got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Advan Peternelj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Vaso Vršič made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Zorislav Zorč hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute of the match Milutin Brvar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fatmir Ramovš skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Jezersko NK's Milanko Udovč got a free kick in the 65th minute. Advan Peternelj's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Maksimiljan Frankovič skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Advan Peternelj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Zdravko Ulaga put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Maksimiljan Frankovič. Advan Peternelj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maksimiljan Frankovič came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Jezersko NK's Advan Peternelj. But to his dismay, Advan Peternelj quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After having played for 97 minutes, Advan Peternelj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jezersko NK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Advan Peternelj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jezersko NK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
