Spectators: 6771 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rašid Smrtnik started the match with the kick off. Žirovnica's Vaso Vršič got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 7 minutes, Rupert Veličkovič mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Žirovnica and the Moravci ND players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Žirovnica's Rupert Veličkovič got a free kick in the 7th minute. Richard Janić took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maksimiljan Frankovič. Žirovnica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Žirovnica's goalkeeper Maksimiljan Frankovič had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bonifacij Rajšter. Vaso Vršič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th match minute, Moravci ND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mersud Tomšič to maneuver through the defense. Bonifacij Rajšter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Žirovnica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moravci ND the free kick. Rastko Petančič kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vaso Vršič made a kick off. Vaso Vršič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 53 minutes of play, Žirovnica's Klavdij Drnovšek made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viktor Šildenfeld was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bonifacij Rajšter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Maksimiljan Frankovič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jovo Štalcer's late challenge caught a Žirovnica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jovo Štalcer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Žirovnica booed when Moravci ND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jovo Štalcer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Klavdij Drnovšek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Žirovnica's supporters rose to their feet, but Klavdij Drnovšek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Šildenfeld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the game, Klavdij Drnovšek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 77th minute Vaso Vršič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Šildenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vaso Vršič came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Žirovnica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaso Vršič couldn't finish the play. Viktor Šildenfeld was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vaso Vršič showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 84 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Moravci ND's zone, Vaso Vršič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Šildenfeld came out of the goal and Vaso Vršič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90thth minute of the game Rašid Smrtnik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Žirovnica's Maksimiljan Frankovič was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rašid Smrtnik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
