Spectators: 6794 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Egon Malenšek started the match with the kick off. Bruno Dobrila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Nikolaj Škrajnar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8thth minute of the game Bruno Dobrila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Majšperk ND's Nikolaj Škrajnar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nikolaj Škrajnar came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Gornja Radgona NK's Bruno Dobrila. But to his dismay, Bruno Dobrila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Majšperk ND getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Kamenko Svilar hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Gornja Radgona NK's Jurček Zorko in action when he in the 19th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 22nd minute, Time Lazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Majšperk ND's goal looked a bit too open when Time Lazar came free, but Nikolaj Škrajnar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Time Lazar came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Gornja Radgona NK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Time Lazar couldn't finish the play. Levin Jamnikar struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Nikolaj Štirn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Majšperk ND. Danilo Šubelj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolaj Štirn having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Gornja Radgona NK got a freekick which was hit by Rastko Prosenjak. Bruno Dobrila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolaj Škrajnar having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Bruno Dobrila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolaj Škrajnar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Majšperk ND's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Dobrila came free, but Nikolaj Škrajnar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Dobrila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Bruno Dobrila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hektor Kuster during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Majšperk ND's Hektor Kuster got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When Gornja Radgona NK's Rastko Prosenjak in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Majšperk ND's goalie prevented a goal. Time Lazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Majšperk ND's Nikolaj Škrajnar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Majšperk ND from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Majšperk ND's Egon Malenšek got a free kick in the 67th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Bruno Dobrila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gornja Radgona NK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Dobrila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Janez Kamnik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Majšperk ND's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gornja Radgona NK the free kick. The Gornja Radgona NK fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Gornja Radgona NK's Bruno Dobrila looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Majšperk ND booed when Gornja Radgona NK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zdravko Cink didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Majšperk ND getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Voranc Švab hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Majšperk ND's zone, Time Lazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikolaj Škrajnar came out of the goal and Time Lazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Šubelj during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gornja Radgona NK booed when Majšperk ND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Šubelj didn't get a good kick on the ball. Time Lazar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Nikolaj Škrajnar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Bruno Dobrila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Majšperk ND's Nikolaj Škrajnar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Majšperk ND from getting a goal against them. Gornja Radgona NK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
