Klavdij Grajzar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakob Aćimović's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. With a little luck, Mirna Peč's Klavdij Grajzar got control of the ball when Nikola Škofič tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jakob Aćimović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nikola Škofičs short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Klavdij Grajzar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 32 played minutes, Mirna Peč's Ernad Mavrič shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vido Povirk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mirna Peč reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tahir Rehar in the 37th minute of play forced Mirna Peč's goalkeeper Klavdij Grajzar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakob Aćimović might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Klavdij Grajzar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jakob Aćimović ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bojči Špenko during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Kočevje FC a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Karel Kitić, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mirna Peč's Klavdij Grajzar. 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kristian Hartman was the one to do the kick off. Romi Slokar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vido Povirk having to interfere. Stane Tešić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Klavdij Grajzar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikola Škofič, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mirna Peč's zone, Nikola Škofič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klavdij Grajzar came out of the goal and Nikola Škofič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kočevje FC's Jakob Aćimović got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jure Sakelšek fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kočevje FC's protests and gave Jure Sakelšek a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kočevje FC's Jure Sakelšek got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kočevje FC's goalkeeper Vido Povirk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nikola Škofič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakob Aćimović took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Klavdij Grajzar. Klavdij Grajzar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Jakob Aćimović struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Klavdij Grajzar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kočevje FC. In the 96th minute, Jakob Aćimović left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kočevje FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Kočevje FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
