But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ažbe Deberšek couldn't finish the play. In the 11thth minute of the game Ažbe Deberšek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mirna Peč's Klavdij Grajzar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Mirna Peč booed when Kuzma ND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Todor Kamšek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Romi Slokar made a precise shot to the right of Goran Duh. Kuzma ND's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Klavdij Grajzar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick Metzkar, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Klavdij Grajzar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Metzkar in the 28th minute of the match. Goran Duh made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Frank Žuraj sent off a good shot on target. Romi Slokar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Kuzma ND getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Rem Škofič hit a great ball. In the 37th match minute, Kuzma ND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksej Časl to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute of the match Bojči Špenko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Goran Duh showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kristian Hartman to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Kuzma ND's Nick Metzkar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Klavdij Grajzar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nick Metzkar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Klavdij Grajzar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Mirna Peč's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Metzkar came free, but Klavdij Grajzar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristian Hartman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Goran Duh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kuzma ND's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mirna Peč the free kick. Ažbe Deberšek kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Romi Slokar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goran Duh having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Mirna Peč:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kuzma ND:s goal. Klavdij Grajzar went to the wrong direction when Boško Pantelić was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mirna Peč's zone, Nick Metzkar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klavdij Grajzar came out of the goal and Nick Metzkar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Romi Slokar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mirna Peč's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romi Slokar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ažbe Deberšek got free with Klavdij Grajzar in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kristian Hartman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Goran Duh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aleksej Časl fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kuzma ND's protests and gave Aleksej Časl a yellow card for diving instead. Aleksej Časl kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When Romi Slokar came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Mirna Peč fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romi Slokar couldn't finish the play. Goran Duh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Hartman in the 97th minute of the match. Kristian Hartman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
