Nikola Škofič blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kenan Širovnik having to make a save. 11 minutes into the match, Jakob Aćimović notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Nazarje ND's Kenan Širovnik. Kenan Širovnik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jakob Aćimović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Kenan Širovnik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Verjano Košmrlj's late challenge caught a Kočevje FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Verjano Košmrlj helped the player get up and apologised. Nikola Škofič took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenan Širovnik. Kenan Širovnik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 24 minutes, Petja Sobočan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nazarje ND and the Kočevje FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Nazarje ND getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Petja Sobočan hit a great ball. Nikola Škofič struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Kenan Širovnik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kočevje FC. Kenan Širovnik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stane Tešić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 minutes of play, Kočevje FC's Nikola Škofič made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenan Širovnik was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Nikola Škofič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Kočevje FC's Nikola Škofič sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenan Širovnik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Verjano Košmrlj recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kenan Širovnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikola Škofič in the 46th minute of the match. The supporters of Nazarje ND booed when Kočevje FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stane Tešić didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Verjano Košmrlj made the kick off in the second half. If Nikola Škofič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Nikola Škofič fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikola Škofič got free with Kenan Širovnik in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 62 played minutes Nazarje ND got a freekick which was hit by Petja Sobočan. In the 68th minute, Stane Tešić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikola Škofič could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Kenan Širovnik made a huge save. Kenan Širovnik made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Nikola Škofič sent off a good shot on target. Jakob Aćimović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenan Širovnik having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Nikola Škofič got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Kenan Širovnik made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Jakob Aćimović sent off a good shot on target. Verjano Košmrlj kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Nikola Škofič struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Kenan Širovnik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kočevje FC. If Nikola Škofič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Kočevje FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nazarje ND throughout the match.
