Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Verjano Košmrlj started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the game, Mujo Lukek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kenan Širovnik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Mujo Lukek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zladko Jezernik charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zladko Jezernik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Podlehnik ND fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Ulas Mally fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ljupko Vučko having to interfere. Verjano Košmrlj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ljupko Vučko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Podlehnik ND's Čedomir Krejči got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Podlehnik ND booed when Nazarje ND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verjano Košmrlj didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Čedomir Krejči who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nazarje ND's Kenan Širovnik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Podlehnik ND's Mujo Lukek in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nazarje ND's goalie prevented a goal. Kenan Širovnik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Čedomir Krejči, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute, Čedomir Krejči got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Čedomir Krejči managed to get in a good position for a shot. Podlehnik ND's supporters rose to their feet, but Čedomir Krejči was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenan Širovnik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petja Sobočan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ljupko Vučko having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Nazarje ND's goal looked a bit too open when Mujo Lukek came free, but Kenan Širovnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mujo Lukek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenan Širovnik having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mujo Lukek made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Nazarje ND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Verjano Košmrlj to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Ulas Mally got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 60 minutes, Paskal Kosec mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Podlehnik ND and the Nazarje ND players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paskal Kosec hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Podlehnik ND's goal looked a bit too open when Ulas Mally came free, but Ljupko Vučko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Brunoslav Hodžić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Podlehnik ND's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nazarje ND the free kick. The Podlehnik ND fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Podlehnik ND's Čedomir Krejči looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kenan Širovnik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paskal Kosec in the 76th minute. Ljupko Vučko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulas Mally in the 82nd minute of the match. Verjano Košmrlj kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Mujo Lukek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenan Širovnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 minutes of play Podlehnik ND's Paskal Kosec was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 92 played minutes Podlehnik ND got a freekick which was hit by Paskal Kosec. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Podlehnik ND had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
