Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) Nick Metzkar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Ažbe Deberšek came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Kuzma ND fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ažbe Deberšek couldn't finish the play. Ratko Cvetič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goran Duh having to interfere. Ažbe Deberšek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Klavdij Grajzar made a huge save. Ažbe Deberšek came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Klavdij Grajzar could save by the left post. Romi Slokar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Goran Duh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kvirin Krupenko kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mirna Peč's Frank Žuraj got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Aleksej Časl fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kuzma ND's protests and gave Aleksej Časl a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute of the match Teodor Goršek shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Klavdij Grajzar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Kuzma ND booed when Mirna Peč was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Žuraj didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 minutes, Todor Kamšek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kuzma ND and the Mirna Peč players grew even worse after the yellow card. Todor Kamšek hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Goran Duh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romi Slokar in the 40th minute of the match. Kristian Hartman might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Goran Duh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kristian Hartman ran back to his position shaking his head. Nick Metzkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ažbe Deberšek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kristian Hartman to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Mirna Peč defense, Ažbe Deberšek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Klavdij Grajzar. The Mirna Peč fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klavdij Grajzar should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Hartman in the 65th minute of play forced Kuzma ND's goalkeeper Goran Duh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Goran Duh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristian Hartman, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, one of Kuzma ND:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kuzma ND. Bojči Špenko placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Romi Slokar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goran Duh having to interfere. Nick Metzkar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klavdij Grajzar having to interfere. Goran Duh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romi Slokar in the 80th minute. Nick Metzkar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mirna Peč's zone, Ažbe Deberšek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klavdij Grajzar came out of the goal and Ažbe Deberšek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Romi Slokar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Goran Duh. That made the score 2-1 in the 93 minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Kuzma ND's goalkeeper Goran Duh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romi Slokar. When Mirna Peč's Kristian Hartman in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kuzma ND's goalie prevented a goal.
