Zekirja Šubelj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Bukovec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 3 minutes, Nemanja Adam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rače-Fram and the Miklavž na Dravskem polju NK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vinko Oplotnik struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Zekirja Šubelj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Dragoslav Šumandl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaroslav Strnad struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Dragoslav Šumandl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rače-Fram. Miklavž na Dravskem polju NK's Dragoslav Šumandl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslav Strnad in the 16th minute of play. Zekirja Šubelj was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Goce Medvešek. Brankec Murković kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The goalkeeper, Zekirja Šubelj, was totally fooled by Miklavž na Dravskem polju NK's Boyan Roš, who 34 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rače-Fram's goalkeeper Zekirja Šubelj, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zekirja Šubelj made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Vinko Oplotnik sent off a good shot on target. Zekirja Šubelj was a little too slow when Almir Bukovec got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaroslav Strnad made a kick off. Evgen Domadenik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Dragoslav Šumandl made a huge save. Dragoslav Šumandl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslav Strnad in the 56th minute of the match. After 57 minutes of play Rače-Fram's Nemanja Adam was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 58th match minute, Rače-Fram was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemanja Adam to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, one of Rače-Fram:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rače-Fram. Rače-Fram:s Zekirja Šubelj showed great skill when he stopped Boyan Roš:s penalty. 66 minutes into the match, Rače-Fram's goal looked a bit too open when Vinko Oplotnik came free, but Zekirja Šubelj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evgen Domadenik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Dragoslav Šumandl made a huge save. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rače-Fram's goalkeeper Zekirja Šubelj, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Miklavž na Dravskem polju NK's Almir Bukovec in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rače-Fram's goalie prevented a goal. Almir Bukovec scored 3-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zekirja Šubelj, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A wasted opportunity for Miklavž na Dravskem polju NK. After some careless play in the Rače-Fram defense, Almir Bukovec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zekirja Šubelj. The Rače-Fram fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zekirja Šubelj should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Vinko Oplotnik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zekirja Šubelj was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Jaroslav Strnad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Dragoslav Šumandl made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Miklavž na Dravskem polju NK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rače-Fram had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
