The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Juršinci:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Miklavž na Dravskem polju NK:s goal. Boyan Roš shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 16thth minute of the game Almir Bukovec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juršinci's Franček Juršič was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 22 minutes of play, Miklavž na Dravskem polju NK's Almir Bukovec made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franček Juršič was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rugerij Burja hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Ludvik Skakić's late challenge caught a Miklavž na Dravskem polju NK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludvik Skakić helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Juršinci fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mervan Lisjak made a kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when Boyan Roš put in a rough tackle. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Juršinci. Meti Vidic stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dragoslav Šumandl. 1-2. Vinko Oplotnik was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Miklavž na Dravskem polju NK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Vinko Oplotnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franček Juršič having to interfere.
