Spectators: 6814 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1814, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dalibor Škala got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Zvone Blagus made a precise shot to the right of Božo Krejačič. Šentjur pri Celju ND's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Andjelko Stepišnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Božo Krejačič having to interfere. Ramo Klasinc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Voranc Skubic made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Baldomir Jesenšek sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, Žika Pikelj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd match minute, Šentjur pri Celju ND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Žika Pikelj to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Bujar Zupanič sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Šentjur pri Celju ND's Božo Krejačič didn't even have to move. Božo Krejačič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andjelko Stepišnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vlastimir Mislovič kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Šentjur pri Celju ND's goal looked a bit too open when Andjelko Stepišnik came free, but Božo Krejačič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Sežana NK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andjelko Stepišnik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Šentjur pri Celju ND! Bujar Zupanič shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After a defensive mix-up in Šentjur pri Celju ND's zone, Andjelko Stepišnik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Božo Krejačič came out of the goal and Andjelko Stepišnik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramo Klasincs short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Božo Krejačič to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Sežana NK's Andjelko Stepišnik in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Šentjur pri Celju ND's goalie prevented a goal. Maksimilijan Šoln sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Maksimilijan Šoln had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maksimilijan Šoln took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Voranc Skubic. Voranc Skubic dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 74 minutes of play, Šentjur pri Celju ND's Žika Pikelj made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Voranc Skubic was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Sežana NK's Bujar Zupanič got a free kick in the 79th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Ramo Klasinc notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Šentjur pri Celju ND's Božo Krejačič. Božo Krejačič was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andjelko Stepišnik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
