Spectators: 7861 (Terracing: 5897, Seating: 1808, VIP seats: 156) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rupert Povše started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Lendavske gorice got a freekick which was hit by Rupert Povše. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregor Derčaj in the 6th minute of play forced Lendavske gorice's goalkeeper Jozo Hočevar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Radoslav Kajzar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lendavske gorice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave grajska the free kick. After 7 played minutes Lendavske gorice got a freekick which was hit by Radoslav Kajzar. Jozo Hočevar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregor Derčaj in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lendavske gorice's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karl Učakar was slow to take the kick. During this time grajska's players had a chance to rest. The corner led grajska's Karl Učakar to fire away a dangerous shot which Jozo Hočevar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Matic Mešić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jozo Hočevar having to interfere. Ordančo Korez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darej Vardjan having to interfere. Rupert Povše fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darej Vardjan having to interfere. Jozo Hočevar came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by grajska's Matic Mešić. But to his dismay, Matic Mešić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Gregor Derčaj came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the grajska fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregor Derčaj couldn't finish the play. Gregor Derčaj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jozo Hočevar having to interfere. With a little luck, Lendavske gorice's Jozo Hočevar got control of the ball when Matic Mešić tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matic Mešić made a kick off. In the 51st minute Matic Mešić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jozo Hočevar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When grajska's Gregor Derčaj in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lendavske gorice's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dragan Škoflek during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes Lendavske gorice got a freekick which was hit by Dragan Škoflek. Jozo Hočevar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregor Derčaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some careless play in the Lendavske gorice defense, Matic Mešić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jozo Hočevar. The Lendavske gorice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jozo Hočevar should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matic Mešić in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jozo Hočevar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 62 minutes of play, grajska's Jakov Dobravc made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jozo Hočevar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rupert Povše sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ordančo Korez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rupert Povše recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matic Mešić in the 73rd minute of play forced Lendavske gorice's goalkeeper Jozo Hočevar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 73rd minute of the match Dragan Škoflek completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dragan Škoflek a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Dragan Škoflek hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Darej Vardjan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radoslav Kajzar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Gregor Derčaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jozo Hočevar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jozo Hočevar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregor Derčaj in the 87th minute of the match. Matic Mešić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jozo Hočevar having to interfere. After some careless play in the Lendavske gorice defense, Gregor Derčaj kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jozo Hočevar. The Lendavske gorice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jozo Hočevar should have stopped the shot. grajska walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
