Silvano Borko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rajko Končan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvano Borko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliks Čelik's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. When Rajko Končan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 29 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Silvano Borko was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Radlje ob Dravi NK booed when Maribor MNK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milan Jodanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rajko Končan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvano Borko having to make a save. After 43 minutes, Rajko Končan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maribor MNK and the Radlje ob Dravi NK players grew even worse after the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Mislovič couldn't finish the play. Emin Čelik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Borko having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Radlje ob Dravi NK's Rastko Pungartnik got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Rajko Končan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blaž Doles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Mislovič, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Jurij Primc hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Silvano Borko made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Feliks Čelik sent off a good shot on target. Maribor MNK were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
