When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Medard Štefančič sped through Radlje ob Dravi NK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvano Borko. Sergej Zdešar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Borko having to interfere. Sergej Zdešar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Silvano Borko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Greenhorns's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergej Zdešar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Radlje ob Dravi NK booed when Greenhorns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Bizaj didn't get a good kick on the ball. Greenhorns's Henrik Osterman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Greenhorns from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd match minute, Radlje ob Dravi NK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurij Primc to maneuver through the defense. If Sergej Zdešar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inot Petrič charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inot Petrič the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
