After a rather tough play, Prevalje FC's Roko Drolc got a free kick in the 21st minute. Melvin Sternad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jakob Laban's late challenge caught a Prevalje FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zdenislav Slak during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kostel ND's Zdenislav Slak got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Ognjeslav Švarc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Manojla Klavs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darko Vihernik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egidio Kovič having to interfere. Ognjeslav Švarc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kostel ND's zone, Valentin Zekič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egidio Kovič came out of the goal and Valentin Zekič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ognjeslav Švarc kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Melvin Sternad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenco Grušovnik having to interfere. When Ognjeslav Švarc came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Prevalje FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ognjeslav Švarc couldn't finish the play. Kostel ND's Ernes Vesel got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Egidio Kovič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darko Vihernik in the 99th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Prevalje FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kostel ND had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
