Spectators: 6786 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Krsta Eberl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Čižman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Roko Jereb had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demis Sorec. Škofja Loka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roko Jereb was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renzo Sekirnik in the 18th minute of play forced Puconci's goalkeeper Mike Čižman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Puconci's goal looked a bit too open when Krsta Eberl came free, but Mike Čižman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Puconci's zone, Renzo Sekirnik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mike Čižman came out of the goal and Renzo Sekirnik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renzo Sekirnik struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Mike Čižman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Škofja Loka. Mike Čižman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renzo Sekirnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Krsta Eberl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Škofja Loka's Renzo Sekirnik got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ali Titovšek's late challenge caught a Škofja Loka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Titovšek helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Puconci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Titovšek to maneuver through the defense. If Renzo Sekirnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Armin Čop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Puconci's Mike Čižman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Puconci from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Roko Jereb managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puconci's supporters rose to their feet, but Roko Jereb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demis Sorec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Puconci's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Renzo Sekirnik fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mike Čižman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milutin Lukan in the 83rd minute of the match. Roko Jereb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Demis Sorec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demis Sorec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Šefko Selan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Roko Jereb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Škofja Loka got a freekick which was hit by Michel Gradič.
