Šempeter-Vrtojba
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Celesto Anderwald started the match with the kick off. Ratko Botonjić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 6 played minutes Šempeter-Vrtojba got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Toni. If Nejc Pečnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Šempeter-Vrtojba defense, Aljoša Franko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giuliano Prusnik. The Šempeter-Vrtojba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giuliano Prusnik should have stopped the shot. Šempeter-Vrtojba's Celesto Anderwald got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Nebojša Antonić fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Celesto Anderwald hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Šempeter-Vrtojba's goal looked a bit too open when Aljoša Franko came free, but Giuliano Prusnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aljoša Franko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giuliano Prusnik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. If Aljoša Franko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almir Šifrer hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Nejc Pečnik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giuliano Prusnik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aljoša Franko's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Šempeter-Vrtojba's zone, Aljoša Franko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giuliano Prusnik came out of the goal and Aljoša Franko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giuliano Prusnik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nejc Pečnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Ratko Botonjić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Bo Chamberlain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Giuliano Prusnik came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by FC ANIMATORS's Nejc Pečnik. But to his dismay, Nejc Pečnik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aljoša Franko in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giuliano Prusnik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giuliano Prusnik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nejc Pečnik in the 56th minute. Celesto Anderwald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Šempeter-Vrtojba's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aljoša Franko fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 63 minutes into the game, Victorio Hechter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC ANIMATORS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Šempeter-Vrtojba the free kick. Giuliano Prusnik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aljoša Franko in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Ratko Botonjić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Šempeter-Vrtojba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Sašo Ferizović hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC ANIMATORS's Sašo Ferizović got a free kick in the 76th minute. Dan Uchiha kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. When Sašo Ferizović fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC ANIMATORS's protests and gave Sašo Ferizović a yellow card for diving instead. Bo Chamberlain came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Šempeter-Vrtojba's Ratko Botonjić. But to his dismay, Ratko Botonjić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Nebojša Antonić kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Aljoša Franko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giuliano Prusnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aljoša Franko in the 87th minute of the match. If Nejc Pečnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Almir Šifrer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Nejc Pečnik managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC ANIMATORS's supporters rose to their feet, but Nejc Pečnik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giuliano Prusnik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Šempeter-Vrtojba getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Demis Arnšek hit a great ball. Aljoša Franko struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Giuliano Prusnik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC ANIMATORS. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
