Spectators: 5300 (Terracing: 4200, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 0) NK Mostje's Zeni Đogić started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vilim Mak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Podakar having to interfere. Vilim Mak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Herbert Podakar made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Ursino in the 10th minute of play forced NK Mostje's goalkeeper Herbert Podakar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeni Đogić scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tolek Bury, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Vilim Mak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herbert Podakar was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Herbert Podakar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vilim Mak's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Zagorje MNK's Raul Ursino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herbert Podakar. That made the score 1-1 after 26 minutes of play. Vilim Mak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Raul Ursino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, NK Mostje's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Ursino came free, but Herbert Podakar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilachala Vučko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Nilachala Vučko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zagorje MNK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilachala Vučko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Zagorje MNK's Raul Ursino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Ursino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zahir Ivič received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Herbert Podakar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herbert Podakar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nilachala Vučko went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Ursino in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herbert Podakar saved NK Mostje from getting behind. NK Mostje's Herbert Podakar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Ursino in the 82nd minute of play. When Zijad Grbac came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Zagorje MNK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zijad Grbac couldn't finish the play. Zagorje MNK's Raul Ursino got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Vilim Mak notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of NK Mostje's Herbert Podakar. Herbert Podakar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raul Ursino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herbert Podakar having to make a save. Zagorje MNK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
