After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Brankec Gasser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Žužemberk ND's supporters rose to their feet, but Brankec Gasser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florijan Premuš breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. NK Trnova's Florijan Premuš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slavko Vrbanec in the 8th minute of play. Ditrih Fortuna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dennis Pograjc. Žužemberk ND's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Florijan Premuš made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Brankec Gasser sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the match, NK Trnova's goal looked a bit too open when Slavko Vrbanec came free, but Florijan Premuš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Pograjc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitrije Judnič in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitrije Judnič in the 26th minute of play forced Žužemberk ND's goalkeeper Dennis Pograjc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slavko Vrbanec charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Slavko Vrbanec the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Slavko Vrbanec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florijan Premuš made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brankec Gasser in the 33rd minute. 38 minutes into the match, NK Trnova's goal looked a bit too open when Slavko Vrbanec came free, but Florijan Premuš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NK Trnova's Florijan Premuš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slavko Vrbanec in the 44th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dimitrije Judnič was the one to do the kick off. Milanko Brinar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Pograjc having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Zdenislav Repovž hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Brankec Gasser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florijan Premuš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Konda charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Konda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Žužemberk ND got a freekick which was hit by Christian Konda. In the 68th minute Dimitrije Judnič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Pograjc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Žužemberk ND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdenislav Repovž to maneuver through the defense. Florijan Premuš came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Žužemberk ND's Brankec Gasser. But to his dismay, Brankec Gasser quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Žužemberk ND. Zlato Podolski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Florijan Premuš. 2-0. Slavko Vrbanec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Florijan Premuš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Žužemberk ND's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
